I will get to the title in a moment. First of all why doesn't anyone flog anymore? Cole I give you props for flogging most recently. Well in other news college is insane. I haven't really made any college friends exactly but whatever. There was Moustache Matt. I haven't actually spoken to him but he had a cool moustache the first week of classes and then he shaved it off :(. Also there is an ex-pro wrestler in my public speaking class. Then there was the girl that wore a cat ear headband to Science Foundations. Oh! My American Foundations teacher is terrifying! He wasn't so terrifying when I sat in the back but he made a seating chart and I wound up in the front. Much more scary in the front! He is really passionate about history and that is good and he has this really intense voice. He could probably take over the world if he really wanted too. So intense, I think he might destroy me if I cross his path though.
Now to the title. So I had to go to this fireside tonight and this lady... oh this lady. She was telling us that Satan is the creator of margarine. Oh bother. She went on this whole thing about how Satan is poisoning us. I agree that preservatives aren't the best things in the world. The way she was saying it all though was that we should be making everything from scratch and growing our own wheat, which is just not practical or cost effective. Then she got all teary and was like "It touchs me to see all these future vessels of creation of babies. You all need to eat purely. You soon will be your babies sole source of nutrients. Do you really want to be poisoning your baby with red dye #4 or MSG?" It was TOO much. It made me sort of ashamed to be a Mormon female. It felt like the sort of crap that was just too cliche of a Mormon housewife thing. Shouldn't we be worried about missionary work, poverty, sin or something a little less trivial? Shouldn't we be living our lives in such a way where the perservative and chemical could claim my life at any time and I would still be fine meeting my maker? Also she was like "If your ancestor's didn't eat it then chances are it is bad for you". To this I say - my ancestors died at like 50 I don't need a bottle of Jack Daniels and a Cuban cigar to do some hard living. Jeez. What a life eh?
Miss you all,
Sarah
DON'T EAT MARGARINE OR YOU WILL DIE!

Hello everyone! How have you been? Ive been pretty good. So if you havent heard, St Louis Missouri Mission is where I am going. And I am leaving December 21 which stinks because its right before Christmas. So I have started my Photojournalism collage class. Its really cool its every Wednesday from 5 to 7. Work has become a lot easier because I havent had to weedwacked for ever. But we hired a guy that everything that comes out of his mouth is sexually related. So thats not good. Ill try to not let him corrupted me. HAHA I am getting ready to go to the temple and get my endowments so I can go to my cousin Rachel's sealing. So I am really excited about that. My primary class is going better, I think with every lesson Im becoming a better teacher. Nothing really exciting has happened in my life recently. And I was planning on buying but I m not going to now(just in case you wanted to know Moriah). Im kind of mad though that there hasnt been any movies coming out that are worth seeing. Also thanks to Michaela I have discovered Groove shark!!!! which I love. Its the best thing since Pandora. And if you want a new artist to look up, look up James Vincent McMorrow. I just watched the other guys for the first time and it was hilarious. Well talk to ya guys later and hopefully I see ya soon.

Oh my life!
Well I haven't updated the masses on my doings for here about two weeks and I probably should rectify this situation so straight into it! This week was basically getting pumped for college. I had oreintation. It was good information and all but it was just very draining. They divided us up into 'I-teams". My team was a trail. The girl leader was a total spaz. She made it make sense why Liz (my sister) calls them "happy trolls". The guy Brett was pretty peppy the first day but was alright the next day. I felt sort of bad for making his time harder, since they are just volunteers, but I really I am just not good with the assign a friend concept. I sort of just like going into things like that by myself. I don't like the whole awkward small talk. I prefer having to get to know someone through like school work. More of group project as opposed to random meeting. I have trouble with things like that. I tried to distance myself from the group as much as possible. During the lunch portion, I sat in the corner by myself. Some of the other I team leaders tried to get me to sit with their groups. It was like elementary school all over again. I prefer sitting alone in situations like that because I can observe and then it logically makes sense to me why I am not socializing. I think it is sort of like the difference between the lonely someone feels in the country and the lonely a person in the city is subject too. I am not complaining or whining about what happened it is just what happened. Nobody believes me when I say this but I am pretty shy all things considered. Before you laugh at me and post something on mmy Facebook wall telling me that I am full of crap let me justify this. Okay so think back to before we were friends. Okay have that? How did we become friends? Well it was either through mutual friends or forced association in class. I have never in recorded history waltzed up to someone and just chatted it up and walked away with a new friend. Anyway it is not in my personality to excel at situations like oreintation. I am glad it is over. I would have just prefered to jump into classes honestly. I think I could be really good at college type work. In happier news I discovered a really delicious slushee on campus. The brand is Frazil (reminds me of Brazil) and it is tiger's blood flavor. I had one around the time I was about to generally freak out on Friday and it made me feel a little better.
Well yesterday Logan, Rachel, Cole, Cameron and I went to the fair. It really cheered me up. Lately I have been feeling out of sorts and it was really nice to be back in a familiar groove. It was good to be back with people that already knew my hometown and major. I also got a lot of stuff at the National Weather Service booth. I do love free things. My mom is going to hang the "don't play in lightning storms" poster in her office.
I guess next I should hit up church. I went to my college ward for the first time today. Thankfully it starts at 1:30. I really like my bishop. He is really friendly and funny. His name is Brother Chelson. Cool guy. There is some real wackados in the ward though. There is this one girl who makes her own chain mail and apparently is into it enough to be able to tell the difference between Japanese and European chain mail. I think she said that one of her friends went to their prom in some sort of chian mail concotion from their prom. Also there is a bunch of zany people that don't have enough of a story to tell. Thus far in my college experience there is two types of people, normal people that I might like to associate with and crazy people who I would only talk to in order to have something good to flog about. Maybe that makes me a jerk. I don't know and at this juncture I am highly prone to not caring. I think it would be in my best interest to just get involved in school work and manage my exsisting friendships for the time being. If anything else comes into play then so be it but for now I am not going to go looking for things.
Now onto things of less of a calender nature. So I had kind of weird moment today. I was sitting in sacrament meeting and I was thinking back to 9/11. I remember that a few days after 9/11 I wondered what the 10th aniversary would be like. You know what my life would be like, what sorts of political stuff would go down, how big a footprint 9/11 would leave. It was weird remembering wondering about the present when it was the future. Sure I could have down some math and figured out that I would be 18 by now and I would in all likelihood be in college. It just strikes me as strange that I would even have the foresight to consider ten years down the line. Then again I am chalk full of surprises even for myself I suppose. Second point of oddity. I was driving home from the Cameron's house after the fair and I was following Cole back into more familiar regions of Archer. Then it hit me. Cole is going to be leaving. These times of me following him back into town (or whatever silly thing) are limited. I thought about him as a missionary and I was like dang Cole is going to be the most rocking missionary ever. I guess the only reason it was strange is that it hit me as the day was over and I was following him back into town. You think that sort of revelation would come during the peak of festivities. Well at any rate Cole I am proud of you. I know you that your mission is going to rock and that you are going to be a force for good. Satan basically hates you right now. Also, don't worry Cameron I am sure that I will have a similar experience closer to your departure.
Well I think, I am running out of things to say. For some reason I feel like I should say that I am really thankful for everything I have. I know that I am a whiny sack of crap a lot but really my life pretty much rocks. As a kid my life wasn't so good and I assumed it would basically stay pretty consistant but ti hasn't. There are a lot of things in this world that don't make sense to me. I know that everything I have is because God has smiled upon my sorry hind end. I just hope that my hijinx keep him amused enough to stay on his good. Well I feel like that is close to it. Oh thanks for being my friends. I think you guys are all pretty cool so know that.
Miss you all,
Sarah

Nervous, Excited all at the same time.
Haha Cameron I just looked at your face and I see what you mean. But it is a funny expression. Hey everyone. It been a wail since I came on here. Love the video Moriah. Well I did it, I had a interview with the stake president and my papers are turned in and I will get my call by the time people go back to collage. And the tile says exactly how I feel. But I was hang out with Scott and he said something I never thought of. That me him, Chris Jensen, and Kyle Parkinson will be in the MTC all at the same time. Which will be cool if we see each other there. My job is going good, we got some more people hired and the are no that bad. So I think I can handle them hahaha. A movie you should see is the Tree of Life I havent seen a movie like so if you get the chance watch it. I just watched a ski movie today and I know I am going to be the only one on here that will say this but I am pumped for SNOW!!!! My stake president gave me a change for me every week go up to some random person and tell them who I am and what I believe. And I am happy to say that I have done it this week. To the girl at the McDonald's drive thu hahaha. And I am excited for the fair this year its going to be fun. Oh and Laura there are some crazy cops trust me I now some. Man I just really miss all of you guys and I am really sad we all cant hang out like we used to. I know I am not really a spiritual person but I just want you guys to know that I believe in the church and in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. And I know that the Book Of Mormon is a true. And I know the power of the priesthood is strong, and I am glad I have it cuz I got to give my dad a blessing and that was really cool. I know that our patriarchal blessings are really important to each one of us. And I am so excited to go and preach the gospel, to give the knowledge that we have to people that dont have it. And also I love all you guys and words cant express how grateful I am that you were all in my life. Thanks for the laughs and the good times.

In the words of the Beatles
"There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more"
